that a small neighborhood cluster with this type and style of housing would be significant and qualify as a historic district, but unfortunately the builder himself is not considered a master builder, but the point i want to make there is that this is a visually unique neighborhood cluster of nine buildings in a row that share common reasons of expression. they're all the same height and conform to the site topography as you can see there. they have a specific proportionatity to width to depth to height and one to one and there is a side still well on the houses. they all have flat roof lines and some with pits and are classic examples of the marina style home so by definition this project is about making changes to that facade that you're seeing there, that street scape. i think by definition there is an impact. it's out of context to add a third story in the immediate context of nine other immediately adjacent buildings considered significant and historic aside from the builder, so that's the first point. the second point i want to make would be 18a. there is still one unanswere

in on the map right now. you can see the clustering 2 12 parks. as you get closer in, it lets you know where you're at. i'll zoom in on a park. you can see many different parks here. if you go to dolores, we'll start to see all of the facilities that they have available. looks like there's a tennis court, a dog play area, some children's park play areas. and if you actually go into one of the children's play area maybe, you can see some details about it. any news about each of the parks is going to be referenced here through a feed. ability to donate to the rec and park. let's say a ballfield, you'd be getting ballfield information. if there's close out based on rain. and you can do some filtering, spot-check the filtering real quick. this is what's near right now. filter, we've got, i don't know, what is it, over 10 categories, maybe closer to 20. and basically anything you're looking for, you can turn on right here. for me, i'm a dog owner. maybe i want to take the kids as well. and i want to find a park that has all of these things. i filter, i go back. i'll find which ones are the closest vi

restrooms in the building cluster that is 9, building 40, which will remain to have clinics on the floor. our second project at san francisco general hospital is the funding of phase 2 for the building 80 and 90 elevator renovations. as you have known from previous presentations, we have some service problems with these elevators. that building has many health clinics that provide central services and during the rebuild, it will become what we call "a surged space." where other sections of other departments on the campus will cycle and move into this building temporarily. so this building will have another 20-30-year lifecycle. our next projects that we're seeking funding on are for the construction of the barrier removal projects at the south of market cultural arts center, called somart to provide access to a very large mezzanine that is only accessed by stairs right now. there is a dance studio and ceramics and to build accessible restrooms in the upper floors the mission cultural arts center. and also provide accessible access to the print studio, which is on a mezzanine on the thir

area. these are tornado warnings. this little cluster has had the strongest winds with it it and the most signs of rotation of tornadic signatures. so anywhere to the east of nashville, give it a half hour and wait until the storms are gone and you'll be safe. also strong storms near richmond and louisville. now a wider view, these storms continue all the way down through mississippi. they are going to roll all the way to the east coast. in the areas of yellow, this line of storms will roll through your town. 15 to 30 minutes. they will have the chance of knocking down trees. that includes everybody up to pittsburgh, washington, d.c., just south of philadelphia and then all the way down through raleigh, charlotte, richmond and atlanta. some time around 10:00 a.m. and through montgomery. fast-moving storms that will bring winds with it. it's going to be 70 in d.c. then the storms will roll through. tomorrow we have snow on the backside of this storm. i'll give you the snow totals and details a little later. >> thanks so much. >>> a stretch of the mighty mississippi

about the food clusters work that you are getting grant funding for? i'm curious about it, does that include the food trucks, is that specific for food production? >> it's looking in general at the whole kind of food policy issues and we have a couple of grants, we have staff that is spending a quarter of her time to look at establishing a food policy for the city, so we're getting off the ground and defining it, but it's meant to be at the starting point a comprehensive point of how food is provided and grown and food deserts and all those issues in the city. >> i would like to have that brought to the commission, the same for the urban forest public education campaign, that sounds interesting. all of these are really interesting. i mean, i know we heard about some of the various programs, but to have an opportunity to hear a little bit about the work and how it's being scoped, i think that would be worthwhile. another item that's kind of random and i don't mean this to disparage my historic preservation commissioners but i'm just wondering in here, there's a mention of a stipe

to get to people in need. they looked at a map and saw clusters allover and configure out why they were clustering in the same places. turned out people who were operating ambulances need three things 24/7, food, coffee and a place to go to the battered and find another places throughout the five burrows where you serve those needs they were able to reduce the response time by a man of an ambulance which is a critical amount of time. finally going back to hurricane sandy the city of new york has 42 years exposed the hurricane evacuation zone datasets to the public and this is incredibly critical for us because when mayor bloomberg issued an order to evacuate we have such an influx of traffic that our servers were struggling to keep up with requests for people trying to find out which hurricane evacuation zones they were in. we shared that data with google crisis groups, the new york times, with the full public who was all available and able to use it and they built a fully functioning interactive hurricane evacuation zone map that help step in and serve that function and help those do o
